150+ posts in our online discussion forum

In addition to this public site/blog, twitter and our media galleries, we are also sharing and collaborating in a private online forum. We are using the provincial VLE (which is D2L) to have these discussions. This week we had 150+ posts in our 'handshake' or introductions forum. Students all shared a bit about themselves using a variety of media formats (video, image, audio, text). Students strengths and passion truly came through in these posts. For students who haven't posted yet, please do when you can. Your next challenge is to ask a thoughtful question of a peer from another class, or make a connection with another student. Great work so far! Our next discussion is "Are you proud of Canada?". What a complicated question. It will be great to have so many different perspectives.
